THE SUPERLATIVE CLUB ONSITE AT CHEMUNG VALLEY MONTESSORI SCHOOL

Each enrichment offering is held twice per week and runs for approximately one hour per session, 3:30 - 4:30 PM.

A defining element of The Superlative Club experience is our end-of-session showcase, where students have the opportunity to present what they have learned to their families. This experience builds
confidence, reinforces learning, and creates a meaningful connection between the school and its families while celebrating student achievement.

Program Schedule

Pricing: $350 per 10-week session
Includes: Two 1-hour clubs each week

Students may register for two different clubs during the session, or they may attend the same club both days each week.

Seasonal offerings rotate throughout the year to provide students with a variety of engaging enrichment experiences and opportunities to explore new interests.

Club Descriptions

• Cooking & Baking – Young chefs will mix, create, and explore exciting recipes while learning kitchen skills, creativity, teamwork, and the science behind cooking.

• Robotics – Students will design, build, and bring creations to life while exploring coding, engineering, problem solving, and innovation through hands-on projects.

• Chess Club – Build strategy, confidence, and critical thinking skills through exciting games, challenges, and friendly competition.

• Dance – Learn fun choreography, build confidence, improve coordination, and express creativity through energetic movement and music.

• Musical Theater – Step into the spotlight through acting, singing, storytelling, and performance while building confidence and stage presence.

• LEGO Engineering – Create, design, and build amazing structures and moving creations while developing STEM skills, imagination, and teamwork.

Session 1 – Seasonal Club Offerings

• Arts & Crafts / DIY Design – Bring imagination to life through fun, hands-on projects, creative designs, seasonal crafts, and unique keepsakes.

• Clay & Poetry – Blend creativity and self-expression by sculpting with clay while discovering the art of storytelling and poetry.

• Jewelry Design – Design and create one-of-a-kind bracelets, necklaces, accessories, and wearable art while exploring creativity and style.

Session 2 – Seasonal Club Offerings

• Science Experiments – Discover the excitement of science through hands-on experiments, surprising reactions, and interactive challenges.

• World Culture Exploration – Travel around the world without leaving the classroom by discovering traditions, foods, art, music, and cultures from different countries.

• ASL – Learn signs, communication skills, and engaging activities while exploring the beauty of sign language and self-expression.

• Yoga & Mindfulness – Build confidence, focus, and emotional well-being through movement, stretching, breathing exercises, and calming activities.

Session 3 – Seasonal Club Offerings

• Creative Writing / Comics – Turn ideas into stories and characters through imaginative writing, comic creation, and storytelling adventures.

• Fitness / Ninja Warriors – Jump, climb, race, and conquer exciting challenges while building strength, confidence, teamwork, and coordination
