The Superlative Club at AEF Schools

We’re excited to bring hands-on, engaging enrichment clubs to AEF Schools! Our programs are designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and help students discover new interests in a fun, supportive environment.

 

Program Details

• Start Date: September 1

• Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays

• Time: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

• Registration Fee: $5 per student

• Tuition: $5 per day, per student

Thanks to scholarship support, we are able to offer this special discounted rate. The $5 per day rate is available for the first 30 students who register, so we encourage families to enroll early to secure their child’s spot.

Quarterly Club Offerings

1st Quarter

​

Clay Creations & Pottery (Tuesdays) 

Students explore the art of sculpting and pottery through hands-on projects using clay. They learn shaping, molding, texture, and design techniques while creating unique pieces that encourage creativity and fine motor skill development.

​

Robotics Lab (Wednesdays) 
Future engineers build, program, and test exciting robotic creations while learning the fundamentals of engineering, coding, teamwork, and problem-solving through engaging STEM challenges.

​

Drone Discovery Club (Wednesdays) 
Students discover the exciting world of drone technology by learning about flight, safety, navigation, and real-world drone applications. Through guided activities, they develop STEM skills while practicing basic flight techniques.

​

Special Effects & Stage Makeup (Thursdays) 

Young artists learn the creative techniques behind theatrical and movie makeup, including aging effects, fantasy characters, scars, bruises, and other special effects while exploring careers in film and theater.

2nd Quarter

​

Chess Club
Students strengthen critical thinking, concentration, patience, and strategic planning as they learn chess fundamentals, practice new techniques, and participate in friendly competitions.

​

Creative Writing & Comic Book Club
Students become storytellers by creating original characters, writing exciting adventures, and designing their own comic books while developing creativity, literacy, and artistic expression.

​

Intro to Carpentry
Students are introduced to basic woodworking concepts, simple construction techniques, tool safety, measuring, and building as they complete hands-on projects that develop confidence and problem-solving skills.

 

3rd Quarter

​

Junior Electrician
Students explore the basics of electricity through safe, hands-on experiments while learning about circuits, switches, batteries, conductors, and how electrical systems power our everyday lives.

​

Plumbing Basics
Students discover how plumbing systems work by learning about pipes, water flow, fittings, and basic construction concepts through engaging STEM activities and interactive building challenges.

​

Intro to Cosmetology
Students explore the science and creativity behind the beauty industry by learning introductory hairstyling techniques, nail design, skincare basics, hygiene, professionalism, and salon safety through fun, age-appropriate activities.

 

Quarterly Parent Showcases! 

Students will participate in exciting, hands-on activities led by experienced instructors, with opportunities to develop new skills, make friends, and showcase what they’ve learned throughout the year. All materials and supplies are included. We look forward to an amazing school year with your family!
